Rachel Hedlin, DVM

Dr. Rachel is locally grown! Raised on a dairy farm, she has always had a heart for animals. Dr. Rachel has been with Lake Region Small Animal since 2010. Prior to this, she spent three years as an active duty Army officer working with military police dogs in California and South Korea. Outside of work, she teaches group fitness classes at the Alexandria Area YMCA. Her other passion besides animals is running, and she has done several full and half marathons, trail runs and adventure races. Veterinary medicine, teaching at the Y, a husband and several furry four legged children definitely keep her busy.
